We intend to acquire and operate one durable business. This page exists so brokers and sellers can self-screen quickly. If your listing fits, we want to hear from you. If it doesn't, no wasted time on either side.

Geography

We are based in San Jose, California and focused on businesses within roughly one hour of downtown San Jose. This means the South Bay, East Bay, and Peninsula. We are not looking at remote-first businesses or companies outside this footprint.

What We're Looking For

We look for profitable, durable service businesses with stable or recurring revenue and a local reputation that took years to build. Our goal is to acquire, improve, and run — not flip.

Profitable & Durable

The business has a real track record of profitability. Not turnaround candidates — businesses that already work.

Stable or Recurring Revenue

Repeat customers, service contracts, or subscription patterns. Revenue that doesn't reset to zero each month.

Local, Reputation-Based

The business has earned its position through relationships and reputation — not just price. Something worth protecting.

Team Beyond the Owner

The business runs with employees or contractors, not purely owner-dependent. Transition risk is manageable.

Preferred Characteristics

  • Repeat or contracted revenue — customers who come back on a schedule or agreement
  • B2B or sticky customer base — businesses where switching costs or relationships create retention
  • Low customer concentration — no single customer represents more than 20–25% of revenue
  • Clean financials — organized books, a clear picture of owner compensation and discretionary expenses
  • Straightforward business model — we should be able to understand how the business makes money in a short conversation
